Privacy Policy

1. The short version
We collect what we need to run a verified marketplace, we don't sell personal information, and we never market to wedding guests. Verification documents are used to verify — not to profile or resell.
2. What we collect
Browsing: standard server logs (IP, pages viewed, device/browser) and privacy-respecting analytics. Accounts (when available): name, email, phone (verified by SMS), and for couples, planning details you provide (wedding date, metro, budget range). Verification: for reviews, proof of contract or payment; for vendors, business identifiers checked against public and commercial records. Guest lists (wedding-website features, when available): names and contact details couples upload to manage RSVPs.
3. How we use it
To operate and secure the Services; to verify reviews, couples, and businesses; to compute reputation scores; to route inquiries between couples and vendors; to provide support; and to send service communications. With consent, product updates you can opt out of anytime.
4. Guests are not our audience
Guest information uploaded for RSVPs is used solely to provide the couple's wedding-site features. We do not send marketing to guests, and guest records are flagged non-marketable in our systems by design.
5. What we share
With vendors: the inquiry details a couple chooses to send. With service providers: hosting, SMS verification, analytics, payment and verification partners — bound to use data only to provide their service. With authorities: when legally required. We do not sell personal information.
6. Verification materials
Contracts and payment proofs submitted for review verification are used to confirm the engagement occurred, retained only as needed for verification integrity and dispute resolution, and are never displayed publicly.
7. Your choices
You may access, correct, or delete your account information, and request deletion of guest records associated with your account. Residents of certain states (including California) have additional rights — to know, delete, and opt out of "sharing" as defined by law; we honor verified requests at privacy@getlazo.com. We do not discriminate for exercising privacy rights.
8. Retention & security
We retain personal information while your account is active and as required for the purposes above, then delete or de-identify it. We use industry-standard safeguards; no system is perfectly secure, and we'll notify you of breaches as required by law.
9. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Changes & contact
